We are one of the over 20 sponsoring churches and organizations that serve at the Crystal Lake Food Pantry every month.  Our volunteers help sort and process donations, stock shelves, and assist our neighbors as they come through the food pantry.

Besides serving at the Crystal Lake Food Pantry, we also participate in the CROP Hunger Walk in the fall.  And as a part of a community-wide effort, we hold an annual food drive in November and collect donations for the Community Harvest.  Proceeds from these events benefit the Crystal Lake Food Pantry.

Volunteers must wear masks while serving at the food pantry.  Please bring your own masks.

30th Annual Community Harvest is underway!

FBCCL will begin collecting donations for non-perishable food items through Sunday, November 22nd.  You may drop off your donations in the bin by the sanctuary door.  To make a monetary donation, please write a check to Crystal Lake Food Pantry (indicate 'Community Harvest' on the memo line).  You can either put the check in the offering plate or mail it to P.O. Box 1071, Crystal Lake, IL 60014.

Community Harvest is started by a small group of volunteers in 1990.  It raises awareness of local hunger, engages over 1000 volunteers, and is the year's largest single-day contribution to the Crystal Lake Food Pantry.
